Polinox Wins Brazilian Composites Industry Top of Mind Award

20 December 2011

Polinox has won the Brazilian composites industry Top of Mind Peroxides award, organised by the Brazilian Composite Materials Association (ABMACO).

“This recognition from the market shows that Polinox made the right decision by investing in the expansion of its portfolio, when it added specific peroxides for all types of manufacturing processes for composites. Without a doubt, manufacturers were bothered about the historical dependence on one or two types of products sold in Brazil until then”, says Roberto Pontifex, CEO.

Polinox say they are the largest manufacturer of peroxides in South America, with capacity to produce 280 tons/month in its plant in Itupeva, São Paulo.

According to Polinox, the award included twenty categories, from raw materials, equipment and manufacturing processes and they were also awarded the most remembered distributor and the highlight of the composites industry in 2011. Destaque Business Research was responsible for the survey and counting of votes.

"The award also indicates that manufacturers have come to understand that imported raw materials are not always the best alternatives”, concludes Pontifex.
