Kemrock Launches First Industrial Grade Carbon Fibre

09 August 2011

Kemrock has launched a range of carbon fibre products for industrial applications under the brand name ""JAITEC"".

The products were launched by Mr. Ashok Nayak, Chairman of Hindustan Aeronautics (HA) and Shri P. Soundara Rajan, Director, Corporate Planning of the same company, during their visit to Kemrock’s facilities on 1st August 2011.

Appreciating Kemrock’s successful operations & commercial production of carbon fibre plant, Shri Nayak expressed that it was remarkable for Kemrock to achieve this milestone and he was happy to share this momentous event. He said “Kemrock and HA have also joined hands together by signing a Memorandum of Understanding for manufacture of carbon fibre prepregs. Initially, we were contemplating having the prepregs manufacturing facility at HA Bengaluru, considering the proximity of our other facilities. But I was highly impressed seeing Kemrock’s commitment & capabilities at its world class facility in Vadodara which has made HA decide to make prepregs at Kemrock, apart from the other grades of carbon fibre products"".

Acknowledging HA’s continued support, Mr. Kalpesh Patel, CMD, said “Kemrock and HA’s relationship will grow forward very strongly and it is our commitment to take on these new opportunities together”. He further thanked the team for the very successful implementation of carbon fibre project and the challenges which Kemrock took up to commercialise this ambitious project to serve the nation.
