The Director of the American Composites Manufacturers Association’s (ACMA) Composites Growth Initiative (CGI), John Busel, has become the first international recipient of a newly established industry award.
The honour was presented at the Fourth International Conference on Durability and Sustainability of Fibre Reinforced Polymers (FRP) Composites for Construction and Rehabilitation (CDCC2011) in Quebec City, Canada. ACMA say Busel is recognised for his “outstanding contribution to the advancement of the FRP composites industry in structures.”
""I am deeply humbled to receive this award,"" says Busel. ""I am proud to have represented the composites industry for the past 17 years and, specifically, what ACMA has accomplished in strengthening and developing new composites markets. ACMA’s powerful collaboration with member companies, government and academia helps us strive to make composites as successful as I believe they can and should be.""
