AOC Increase Prices in US and Canada

19 February 2010

AOC has increased prices on all of its products, including polyester resins, vinyl ester resins, gel coats and colorants, in the amount of US$0.05 per pound for all shipments within the United States and Canada.

The implementation date for the increase is March 1, 2010.

Continued cost pressures for energy and feedstock materials result in significant price increases for the raw materials used in AOC products. Recent price increases for benzene, ethylene, propylene, butane and mixed xylenes, among others, are responsible for the increase.

Continued increases for these raw materials are forecasted to continue during the next few months.
