Innovative Composites International (ICI) has received a purchase order for commercial construction panels from Engineered Plastics Incorporated (EPI), a Canadian specialty composite products manufacturer that serves the infrastructure/construction, mass transit and corrections industries.
EPI is in the process of completing the construction of a flagship Mercedes Benz dealership in Hamilton, Ontario and will utilize ICI's Fiber Reinforced Thermoplastic (FRT) panels for the construction of several wall sections.
ICI and EPI have entered into a three year exclusive Distribution Agreement whereby ICI's proprietary panels will be purchased by EPI for application in construction of commercial buildings: including wall and roof systems, hurricane shutters, mass transit platforms, pedestrian walkway systems, and construction of correctional facilities. Design and engineering will be a joint effort with EPI providing application engineering and ICI providing product engineering.
