JETCAM International will be demonstrating a new suite of applications along with new versions of its Expert CADCAM and nesting software at the JEC Show.
Visitors will be invited to try the new applications first hand, walking them through every step of the manufacturing processes covered.
JETCAM will also be putting a challenge to visitors by providing a benchmark comparison against their existing nests. Visitors can supply JETCAM with CAD files of parts, along with a DXF of their best nest of those parts and JETCAM will provide a comparison using its High Performance Nesting engine, which usually demonstrates a 5-15% material saving. Existing customers such as Embraer, Bombardier and many manufacturers for the motorsport industry are already benefiting from the savings that JETCAM delivers.
Mike Weber, Managing Director for JETCAM International s.a.r.l. commented; “We are using JEC as a platform to launch our new application suite as it attracts exactly the right audience. Despite these economically tough times companies are still willing to spend money if the savings can be clearly demonstrated. You cannot get a clearer demonstration of return on investment than an X% reduction in waste off material often costing over €100 per square metre, reduction in labour and improved machine efficiency.”
