Interplastic Resin Receives Approval from Lloyd’s Register

29 April 2009

Interplastic has received a certificate of approval from Lloyd’s Register for its CORVE8121 vinyl ester laminating resin.

Interplastic’s CORVE8121 and CORVE8121LH series of resins, are promoted, thixotropic, 100% vinyl ester resins that Interplastic say exhibit excellent physical properties along with fast hardness development for spray-up and hand lay-up applications. The certificate of approval also covers CORVE8107 and CORVE8106 type resins, which are low viscosity, promoted and non-promoted respectively, 100% vinyl ester resins that are designed to work in the infusion process. Applications for these resins range from pools and spas to large composite marine vessels.
