2 conferences & 3 End-User Forums will take place at the JEC Show Asia, on October 22-23-24.
The 3 end-User forums are dedicated to Aeronautics, Automotive & Land Transportation and Construction & Energy. The JEC Economic Conference aims to provide information about growth opportunities in Asia-Pacific markets, obtaining key figures for each market and presenting best practices, trends and developments. The Design conference, Strength and Life of Composites, has top specialists coming from all around Asia and USA, to provide a basic understanding of failure, life and damage tolerance of composites.
Cobra International will showcase a range of composite products at CAMX 2018, including carbon fibre components for the automotive, transportation, marine, water sports and luxury sectors.
The American Composites Manufacturers Association participated in a roundtable discussion about the IMAGINE Act. Known as the Innovative Materials in American Growth and Infrastructure, Newly Expanded (IMAGINE) Act, the new bill is designed to promote the increased use of innovative materials like fibre reinforced polymer (FRP) composites, as well as new manufacturing methods to accelerate the deployment and extend the life of infrastructure projects.
After the collapse of a drinking water pipeline in downtown Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Insituform was contracted to reline a close to 100 year old pipe underneath one of the canals. Water was restored successfully within five days, with minimal impact on traffic and the environment.
