ITW SprayCore Acquires Euromere

15 January 2008

ITW SprayCore has acquired Euromere, the French supplier of thermoset-resin based specialty products, barrier coats and high-performance gel coats.

ITW says that there are no plans to substantially change how Euromere markets its products, which has operated as a privately held, family business since its inception in 1986. The core management team will remain the same, with the exception of Founder Bernard Imbert who will remain with Euromere as a consultant throughout the transition period to maintain his longstanding connection to Euromere’s customer base.

Markets served by both companies include marine, transportation, construction, consumer, wind energy and labour saving industrial coating applications.
