Hexcel Imposes Energy Surcharge in United States

14 August 2008

Hexcel Corporation will impose a 12 percent energy surcharge on all new orders received by Americas customers in Q3 of 2008.

The decision was made in response to current economic conditions spurred by rising fuel costs, which have significantly increased the costs of raw material, utilities and transportation.

The imposed energy surcharge will be in effect until further notice.
