The programme is developing extremely well for this unique event with papers received from key players in industry and academia, and delegates already registering.

Composites Innovation 2007 will take place on 4-5 October 2007 in Barcelona with its focus on the use of composites for improved sustainability and environmental performance, bringing together academia, researchers, industry and support organisations in an unparalleled forum to create new bridges between research and industry and facilitate the exploitation of high-quality European research.

The event is specifically designed to appeal to an audience from all application sectors, offering an ideal opportunity to stimulate and facilitate technology transfer between industries.

The 2-day event will cover all the key environmental issues with sessions on:
• Economic, social and legislative issues
• Life cycle analysis (LCA)
• End of life issues
• Design for sustainability
• Use of sustainable materials
• Durability

Keynote presentations by major industry figures will set the scene for each session, and a comprehensive exhibition will run alongside the conference.

High quality papers are invited for each of the main themes and authors are invited to submit an extended abstract of about 500 words (plus a maximum of two diagrams) via e-mail in word or PDF format before 31 May 2007.
