SAMPE UK Conference on Materials in Harsh Environments

SAMPE UK will be running a one-day conference on high performance materials in harsh environments, on 21 February 2007 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Nottingham.

This one-day conference will address associated materials and processing requirements for a range of application areas, starting with a keynote address from Alan Pritchard of Boeing. Other areas covered will include aerospace, automotive (including F1), biomedical and ballistic protection.

Relining Solution Restores Drinking Water Supply in Amsterdam

After the collapse of a drinking water pipeline in downtown Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Insituform was contracted to reline a close to 100 year old pipe underneath one of the canals. Water was restored successfully within five days, with minimal impact on traffic and the environment.
