LM Glasfiber Appoints New Chief Executive

Paul Anthony has been appointed the new Chief Executive of LM Glasfiber with immediate effect.

During the past twenty years he has held several senior executive roles, including that of chief executive officer and executive chairman of a number of international energy companies.

Paul Anthony will bring a wealth of knowledge about deregulated energy markets to LM Glasfiber, especially regarding renewable energy, where recently he successfully built Energy Power Resources into the largest renewable generator in the UK.

As Executive Vice President of the British Gas group from 2000 to 2002 he successfully headed the development of BG Group’s activities in the gas distribution sector in South America.

“It would be difficult to find a CEO with a broader and deeper knowledge and understanding of the global energy sector than Paul Anthony, and we are delighted to have attracted him to LM Glasfiber at a time when the company is going through strong international growth”, said Mark Florman, chairman of LM Glasfiber.
