DIAB to Host Sandwich Composite Course

29 July 2005

DIAB will be holding Core College, a full day of both theoretical and practical information on designing and building sandwich structures.

The event will feature sandwich composite theory and processing technology, including proper core installation and infusion, a solution for large-scale closed moulding. The event will be held in association with Savannah College of Art and Design on Thursday, September 1st, 2005.

“Core College is an objective overview of sandwich composites, covering theory, design, processing, and a hands-on demonstration,” says James Jones, Manager of Technical Services at DIAB Inc. “We are excited about our Infusion demonstration, which offers stronger, more consistent parts while providing a more worker-friendly environment meeting MACT standards.”
