Dow Automotive is implementing new price schedules globally for glass bonding systems, structural and plastic bonding adhesives, sealers, foams and reinforcing composites effective September 1.
Customers will be contacted by their Dow Automotive sales representative with specific details. In general, price increases may range up to 12 percent.
The price increases are required to help offset the significant raw material, packaging and freight cost increases realized recently. “For several years, Dow Automotive has been absorbing and offsetting the effect of these cost increases,” said George Hamilton, President, Dow Automotive. “The time has come when we must pass along some of the recent increases to improve profitability levels for our stakeholders.”
