McConaghy Supplies Components for Luneburg Lens.

McConaghy composite components recently completed hemispherical protective lens covers for Australia's leading R&D organisation the CSIRO, for a prototype of the luneburg lens.

This lens, in layman's terms works like a big bug's eye, lots of small images that then get concentrated to one spot through an intricate computer network. An array of lenses, SKA, is being planed to cover one square kilometer. Laid out on the earths' surface to reach far into space the SKA. is part of a world collaboration to see the earliest point in time/space
