Reichhold to Demonstrate Vacuum Infusion at IBEX Boat Building Show

20 January 2003

Reichhold will demonstrate the vacuum infusion process (VIP – also known as resin infusion) at the IBEX 2003 boat building show in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, (USA), February 5-7.

Similar demonstrations will be held concurrently by the other six companies which co-sponsored the recently released DVD entitled VIP Resin Infusion. IBEX attendees can see the full vacuum infusion process live, in real time as the sponsors prepare and infuse actual FRP parts in the “IBEX Demonstration Zone” outside the exhibit hall in Ft. Lauderdale.

The demonstrations will take place at scheduled times during the three days of the IBEX show. Each company will demonstrate its key contribution to the vacuum infusion process profiled in the DVD. Reichhold’s key contribution to advancing boat building through this process is Hydrex® 100-HF, a low-styrene, 100% vinyl ester resin designed specifically for use in resin infusion.

Last year at IBEX, developer of the VIP DVD, Andre Coquet’s demonstrations were standing-room-only events throughout the show. By including all of the sponsoring companies in the demos this year, attendees can see each step of the vacuum infusion process.

Preview the VIP DVD or purchase it on-line at www.guruDVDs.com. See Reichhold in booth # 1613 for this and other boat building solutions.
