Bright outlook for the 2003 JEC Composites show

23 March 2003

The Jec Composites Show continues to consolidate its position as the leading global platform in the composites sector, as Frédérique Mutel, General Manager of Jec, underlines:

“Given our exhibitors’ dynamic preparations for the show and our pre-show statistics, we are hopeful that 2003 will be a very interesting year. With 20% additional space (29,500 square metres compared with 25,000 in 2002), we will be hosting 880 companies including 87 new exhibitors. A quarter of the new exhibitors come from the US, following by four equally represented countries: the UK, Germany, India and China. So the year-on-year internationalisation of the show is continuing, with 74% international exhibitors compared with 72% in 2002.

As for visitors, the pre-registration figures show an increase of 10% compared with last year. Despite the prevailing uncertain context, we are still looking forward to large numbers of visitors, 71% of them from Europe.”

Jec Composites Show, the world’s leading exhibition in the composites sector, is the place to discover new technical trends and innovations and a business forum dedicated to end markets.

For the record, the 2002 show attracted 20,681 visitors (professionals, suppliers, processors and end users) from the four corners of the planet.
