Polar Palooza: An Arctic Celebration in Detriot!

This outdoor public art event will have up to 100 fiberglass bears decorated by local artists on display. The polar invasion begins in July 2002 and the bears will remain on display throughout the summer.

In September 2002 the bears will be removed from display and auctioned off at the Polar Palooza auction gala. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Detroit Zoo and the Downtown Royal Oak Association.
