AERT to Participate in Renovation of 17.5 Miles of Fire Island, N.Y. Walkways

Advanced Environmental Recycling Technologies Inc. announced that the National ark Service has selected the Company's product for use in the renovation of walkways, observation decks and stairs on and around Fire Island, N.Y. The renovation will incorporate the Company's ChoiceDek(R) line of moisture resistant composite wood decking material. "The Northeast coastline is the perfect place to demonstrate the reliability of maintenance-free ChoiceDek(R) decking product," stated Joe G. Brooks, Chairman of AERT. "Our products have already been in use with the National Park Service on the Cape Cod trails for some time now, where they have demonstrated their ability to withstand punishing winter storms and blistering summers with ease. In addition, our products have also demonstrated their resistance to rot and termite damage. Advanced Environmental Recycling Technologies Inc. manufactures a growing line of engineered low-maintenance composite building materials made from recycled polyethylene plastic and waste wood fiber. The Company's products are marketed under the trade names Moistureshield(R) and ChoiceDek(R) for the North American homebuilding market.
