JEC Automotive Forums

JEC Automotive Forums is an international conference focusing on the use of composite materials in the automotive industry. This two-day event offers the exclusive combination of high-end technical presentations and a table-top exhibition, making for the most productive networking opportunities.

Launched in 2016, the first edition of JEC Automotive Forums took place on October 13-14, in Knoxville. With two dozen speakers from all over the world and over 210 attendees, the event presented an extensive overview of the industry through a twofold program. Covering the development of hybrid solutions, the challenges of making carbon fiber affordable thanks to technical sessions, JEC Forums also offered a variety of workshops focusing on light-weighting, CFRP failure analysis and additive manufacturing. Top-level speeches from Volkswagen Group of America, Magna Exteriors, Local Motors, and more were delivered by industry experts keen on pushing composite materials be used to their full potential in this industry.
